What is Spline?
Spline is a curve or surface that is generated by interpolating a set of data points. In 3D visualization, splines are often used to create smooth curves and surfaces.
There are many different types of splines, but one of the most common is the cubic spline. Cubic splines are defined by a set of control points, and the curve passes through all of these points. The curve is smooth at each control point, but can have sharp corners in between.
Cubic splines are often used in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer graphics applications. They can be used to create smooth transitions between two or more shapes.
