What is Computer Rendering?
Computer rendering is the process of generating a 2D or 3D image from a computer model. The model can be a mathematical representation of an object, scene, or another image. Rendering is used in computer graphics to create realistic images. It can also be used to generate images that are not possible to create with traditional photography.
Rendering usually takes place on a computer using special software. The software creates an image by tracing the path of light through the scene. This process is called ray tracing. Ray tracing can produce very realistic images, but it can be computationally expensive.
