What is Dope Sheet?
If you’re working in the field of 3D visualization, then you’ve probably come across the term “dope sheet”.
A dope sheet is a tool that helps animators and other artists to keep track of the timing of their animations. It’s essentially a spreadsheet that lists out each frame of an animation, along with information about what happens in that frame. This can include things like character movements, camera changes, and sound effects.
Dope sheets are essential for ensuring that an animation runs smoothly and looks consistent. Without one, it would be very easy to lose track of what should happen when, which could result in some very chaotic-looking animations.
