What is Field of View?

Field of view (FOV) is one of the most important concepts in 3D visualization. It refers to the degree to which an object can be seen on a monitor or other display. The field of view can be affected by many factors, including the size and shape of the display, the distance between the viewer and the object, and the angle at which the object is viewed.

When creating a 3D model, it is important to consider all of these factors in order to create a realistic and accurate representation of the object. The field of view can be adjusted in order to show more or less of the object, depending on what is being emphasized. For example, if you want to show an object from multiple angles, you may want to increase the field of view. Conversely, if you want to show an object in great detail, you may want to decrease the field of view.
