What is Viewport?

A viewport is a three-dimensional (3D) virtual environment that allows you to view and interact with computer-generated objects, such as those in a CAD drawing or 3D model. Viewports are created by dividing the workspace into multiple rectangular areas. Each viewport represents a different “view” of the same underlying data. For example, you might have one viewport that shows a top-down view of your data, and another viewport that shows a side view.

Viewports are an important part of 3D visualization, because they allow you to see your data from multiple perspectives. This can be helpful when you’re trying to understand complex 3D models, or when you’re looking for errors in your data.
