What is Color Depth?

When it comes to 3D visualization, color depth is an important consideration. This refers to the number of bits used to store color information for each pixel in an image. The higher the color depth, the more accurate the colors will be.

For example, a 24-bit color depth can produce 16 million different colors. This is more than enough for most purposes. However, if you need even more accuracy, you can use a 32-bit color depth. This allows for billions of different colors to be represented.
