What is Alpha?

Alpha is one of the most important features in 3D visualization. It helps you to control the level of transparency of an object or image. This makes it possible to see through objects that are in front of other objects, making the image easier to understand. Alpha can be adjusted on a scale from 0 (completely transparent) to 1 (completely opaque). Most 3D software programs allow you to adjust alpha by moving a slider or by entering specific numbers.

Alpha is particularly useful when working with images that contain multiple layers. For example, if you are creating a map and want to show different layers of information – such as streets, buildings, and parks – adjusting the alpha value for each layer will make it easier to see how they all are.
